Pet abilities are passive or active effects that change how you play and progress. Depending on the pet, abilities can:
- Apply mutations to crops or speed up their growth.
- Increase seed drop and treasure find chances.
- Grow bigger, rarer, and more valuable crops.
- Boost player stats like speed, jump height, or backpack size.
- Mimic or refresh other pets’ abilities.
- Duplicate harvests or trigger bonus rewards.
- And many more.
These effects remain active while the pet is equipped in an active pet slot.
A mutation adds a special effect on top of a pet’s base ability. You can get one by:
- Using the Mutation Machine once a pet reaches age 50+ — this version resets the pet’s age to 1.
- Using Pet Shards — this applies a mutation without resetting the pet’s age.
Mutation Machine results are randomized, and only one mutation can be active per pet at a time.
Select a pet, then enter its Weight and Age. The result panel shows computed values like hatch/max weight, size classification, and resolved ability/mutation text.
Double-check your pet’s age, weight, mutation, and any boosts you have active. Small differences can come from rounding, temporary buffs, or recent game updates. Refresh the page — if it’s still off, report it so we can review and update the data.
